Sessions are for couples of any orientation, gender, or commitment level. Most couples come to therapy to focus on specific conflicts or stressors or want more depth and passion in their relationship – or both!

Using the Gottman method of couple’s therapy and sexuality counseling, the sessions can focus on many things; however, Holly Wood MS., LMFT works to create tailor-made treatment based on what you need as a couple in order to develop new ways to resolve your conflict, improve friendship, deepen emotional connection, and create changes to enhance your shared goals.

Holly’s philosophy for couple’s therapy is to utilize the strengths the couple already has to change negative views of the relationship, improve communication, and modify dysfunctional behaviors. In counseling, she works with members of the couple individually to address their own internal dialogue and attitudes towards their partner, and collectively with the couple to develop ways to approach problems differently to get different results.
